Jessica Canter is an accomplished Senior Surfacing artist who has extensive industry experience in Feature Animation. She has shown both artistic prowess and technical leadership in the field through pioneering new workflows at DreamWorks Animation, developing curriculum at multiple educational institutions, including the Gnomon School, as well as having had artwork displayed in various galleries. Her work has been featured in various award winning films such as Kung Fu Panda (I/II), The Croods, Shrek 4, Turbo,Monsters vs. Aliens and more, with roles ranging from the texturing of entire environments and sets, to surfacing characters with wide varieties of skins, clothing and fur. Jessica has her BFA from Bowling Green University and MFA from Savannah College of Art and Design.
